The quickest and cheapest solution was a modified commercial template running on Joomla Content Management System with the ecommerce handled by PayPal. The client was only selling a limited range of products so it is a reasonable solution to use PayPal, especially as their portal will also handle Credit Card payments without the customer needing a PayPal account
As the site is a CMS the client has been able to update the site himself and has availed himself of that feature and has made several changes to the site since handover.
