The Design Of This Site

If I’m such a wizz bang designer, how come I’m using a professional template from a WordPress theme company?

The answer is quite simple. I didn’t want to waste time, correction – any more time, on the design and development of my own site. This is the third incarnation of my site in the past 12 months. I became the legendary “client from hell” that designers and developers fear. Couldn’t make up my mind on almost any element of my site; the constant chopping and changing was driving me crazy. I was wasting time that should have been devoted to improving my skills as a designer and developer.

Staying up to date with the latest developments and trends in web design and development is extremely important to me as I want to always deliver the best service to my clients.

I have long been a fan of Elegant Themes and when I spotted this theme in their gallery I realised I had the solution to my problem. A website that fulfilled my requirements with both appearance and functionality. Why waste any more of my precious time developing my own design and code when someone had already come very close to my requirements. No need to re-invent the wheel. Using a professional template allowed me to get back to work on things that that are far more important than the constant distraction of fiddling with my own site.

I have visited some other designer’s sites in that past and noticed that credit for the design of their site was for an outside designer or professional theme. I must admit I was mystified at the time as to why; no longer.
